President Jeanne Smith led us in the pledge, George Patterson led us in song and Reverend Bill Hague gave the prayer. It was wonderful to see Ben Schlesinger, Bill Hague, Shira Oler, and John Ratnavale. Due to travel and family matters, not everyone can make every meeting and we always like to see returnees.  And then there is Bill Pennington who is on time to 99.9% of all meetings.

                Triangle.  Lunch afterwards for those able to attend @ Rock Bottom Cafe at 7900 Norfolk Ave.

Jim Leder gave an update on the progress of the Miracle League. The fundraising is now starting and if anyone has a spare million dollars or so they could use the help.  Bernard Brookes from Primerica in Rockville.  He works in financial services and has been in the DC area for 12 years.  He found our website and thought he'd check us out.  We hope he returns.

Shira Oler HD glad to be back, she is also glad that Bill Hague is back to help with our prayers before each meeting. Ben  Schlesinger  HD as he is glad to be back.  Pat Tiede HD for our guest who read about our meeting on the internet. Bob Cressy HD for the fresh lobsters for sale sponsored by the Potomac club.

Pat Norry won the 50/50.

A Board of Directors meeting followed the lunch.

We did not have a speaker but the monthly Board Meeting was held after the lunch.
