Announcements:

The Christmas Party at Alfio's Restaurant was a great success. Check out the pictures in the December 4 Kee-Notes. On Sunday, December 7, dinner was served at Children's Inn at NIH.  We had the assistance of the Kiwanis Club of Olney and Kiwanis Club of Potomac and had a wonderful feast.  We had four people attending the Kiwanis Club of Wheaton Silver Spring's holiday luncheon on Wednesday, December 9.  Jeanne Smith will be attending the Walt Whitman Key Club installation celebration following this meeting.

The kids from the Glenville Homework Club of Langley Park sending smiles and big "THANK YOU's" to the Bethesda Kiwanis Club for their donation of presents and the delicious refreshments.  That's Thomas Quinn, son of Liz and Bob, and some of his friends from Christ Church who helped Liz host the holiday party on December 9. Happy Dollars:

Pat Tiede HD for the several participants serving dinner at Children's Inn. There is a new entrance onto the NIH Campus and she got lost in a parking lot!  She honked the horn on her car until a security officer arrived and was able to guide her to the Inn. Good use of your car horn!! Jeanne Smith HD for Pat Tiede for all the work she does for our club/  She came to our meeting today with bronchitis.  Dick Ruprecht HD for the Holiday Party and the work Jeanne Smith and Pat Tiede did.  Jeanne Smith and Debra Van Horn provided the desserts and Jeanne's chocolate fountain was bubbling away. John Ratnavale HD glad to be back. Bob Cressy HD glad to be here- had to drive around for a while to find a parking space. Gary Boswell 5 HD for Sherwood High School state football champs-played their game in Ravens stadium in Baltimore- also 5 HD for his son who is in the school chorus. Scott Brewer 5 HD glad to be back, sad to have missed the Christmas party but he was in Asheville, North Carolina touring the Biltmore house. This was constructed by one of the Vanderbilt family in late 1890's and is now a museum- incredible size of the house and surrounding grounds.  Debbie Van Horn 3 HD for Liz Quinn, Pat Tiede and John Ratnavale.

Gary Boswell won the 50/50
