Friday September 12, 2008 will be the Golf Tournament at Bretton Woods Country Club. It’s not too early to get sponsors or advertisers for the program or items from silent auction. Bob Quinn is the chairman of the Tournament this year.

Debbie
Van Horn gave a short presentation on Valentines Day trivia –
everyone received a chocolate gift for answering a question correctly.
Some interesting facts are that teachers receive more valentines than
any other profession, more red roses are bought on Valentines Day than
any other day, pink roses are chosen mostly for Mother’s Day. In
1700’s Valentines Day cards were handmade and sealed with red wax. The
average Valentines Day gift costs $73. Special thanks to Debbie for
providing the trivia questions and cupcakes for each attendee. Ben
Schlesinger won a jar of Hershey Kisses for the closest guess on
the number of kisses in a clear glass jar.
Kelly Boswell won the 50/50.
