The Carnival of Chocolates is being held this year at VisArts at Rockville Metropolitan Center for the Visual Arts. More than 250 guests enjoy a wide array of beautiful and creative chocolate confections donated by the area's top restaurants and bakeries. Exciting collection of silent and live auction items. Lamb, Executive Director for Maryland Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse, a nonprofit, nonpartisan grassroots watchdog organization dedicated to educating the public about the costs and consequences of lawsuit abuse. Previously, he served as Special Assistant to President Bush at the U.S. Department of Education from 2001 to 2004. His presentation will point out that "we sue too much in this country." Beverly Gough from Carol Jean Cancer Foundation will be present to update us on Camp Friendship and she will receive our donation. |
