Club Meeting Our speaker will be Delmas Wood, Jr., on the life of Franklin Delano Roosevelt.  Mr. Wood has compiled an extensive archive of facts, anecdotes, quotes and personal glimpses of the 32nd President of the United States. He's traveled to the President's boyhood home, Hyde Park, NY and to the Little White House in Warm Springs, Georgia in his dedication to authentic understanding of the man.  In the dress and character of FDR, he'll present the famous Declaration of War speech against Japan, which Roosevelt delivered before Congress on December 8, 1941.  Mr. Wood has delivered this speech at the "Olney Theatre" and the landmark "Breakers Hotel" in Palm Beach.  In all, the speech has been heard by more than two million people.  Mr. Wood is the owner and director of "The FDR Living Museum" in Sandy Spring, MD.  Sounds like a highly entertaining and informative talk!
